Users have discovered possible plot spoilers on the cover of the God of War: Ragnarok artbook

Yesterday, Sony opened pre-orders for the retail and digital editions of God of War: Ragnarok on PS5 and PS4, including the Collector’s Edition and Jotnar Edition, which sold out in minutes.

Reddit users did not miss a very important detail: the Serbian retailer Games.rs included in the pre-order bonuses a physical mini-artbook called “The Art of God of War Ragnarok”, apparently different from the digital one published by Dark Horse, which is included in the Digital Deluxe bonuses Edition and higher edition. In any case, the discussion has flared up over the cover, which seems to be a pretty significant spoiler about the game. If you are brave enough, you can look at the image on this addressand if you don’t want potential spoilers, then you shouldn’t read any further.

    Spoiler

As we can see, the cover depicts a fierce battle. In the lower left corner you see Sindri, who, despite his germaphobia, apparently decided to get his hands dirty.

However, the most interesting detail is the man behind the dwarf, characterized by a long beard, two horns, and what appears to be a golden eye. According to some theories, this is Mimir, who will apparently get a full body in God of War: Ragnarok. The presence of dragons can also be seen, a detail that some believe indicates that the scene depicted is the battle in Asgard at the height of Ragnarok.

God of War Ragnarok will release on November 9, 2022 for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
