The official Hogwarts Legacy artbook has received an updated release date that could potentially mark the release of the game.
The Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacy: Exploring the Unwritten Wizarding World originally had an obvious placeholder date of December 31st. However, customers who pre-ordered the book on Amazon UK have received emails saying that its release date has been pushed back to December 6, 2022.
These emails and the original list of items (mentioned on Reddit) may indicate that the game, which is only officially slated for release in “2022”, will be released in early December.
While a game’s artbook doesn’t necessarily release on the same day as the game it’s based on, Reddit user Aromatic-Adagio2121 points out that another major Warner Bros game this year, Gotham Knights, has a similar artbook due out on release day. games October 25th.
Hogwarts Legacy was originally scheduled to release in 2021 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC. However, last year Warner Bros delayed the game’s release until 2022.
