Players of the recently released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continue to write to Activision support with questions about why they received a permanent ban. Some users ended up in an unreasonable bath even during early access during the passage of a single player campaign, and others after the launch of the game. Someone did manage to get an official response: “Your account has been permanently banned for using unauthorized software and manipulating game data.”

The Insider Gaming portal suggested that the reason could be the use of applications to control RGB lighting. After a long clarification of the reasons for blocking Battlefield 2042 accounts, it became known that these applications provoke the software to block players.
On the support site Activision can appeal and challenge the decision to ban, but there is a chance that the account will not be unblocked. It is recommended that you uninstall programs such as Logitech G Hub, iCUE, Afterburner, and Razer Synapse 3 to avoid being banned.
