One reason is that the technology is not considered affordable. Around 17% of people in the United Kingdom live in rural areas where the 5G signal is very weak or completely absent.
Experts also believe that such a network will eventually be useful in the process of using an alternative reality and working with the metaverses, and these areas are not interesting to most users.
