Today, Twitter will begin testing the long-awaited accessibility option.
So, users will be able to add alternative text to messages with images.
Alt text is a written description of what is in the picture and why it is important. So, everyone can write and add alternative text for pictures and GIFs that are uploaded to the social network, but this is not necessary, and all it takes is a few clicks to add.
So far, this option will be launched for a small group of users on iOS, Android, and only then a wider implementation is planned.
