Starfield won’t be released until 2023, but apparently it’s already ruining relationships. Actor and comedian Bobby Lee, who stars in the upcoming film Borderlands, recently broke up with his influencer girlfriend Khalila Koon, and one of the reasons he cited was the imminent launch of Starfield.
Bobby Lee and Khalila broke up in July, which they announced on their joint podcast. Lee, who plays new character Larry in Borderlands, joined podcaster Ryan Sickler for an interview and explained some of the reasons behind the split.
One of the reasons Lee gives is that “Starfield will be out in about eight months” – especially if you believe fan theories. Explaining that it’s the next game from the creators of Fallout and Skyrim, Lee states, “I know when Starfield comes out, I’ll play it 16 hours a day.”
I don’t want to be in a relationship when she’s like, “We’re going to the park,” and I don’t want to do that. If you want to go to the park with your friends, I’m all for it. From now on, I think I’ll just be alone.
Starfield looks like it’s going to be a very long game, very similar to Skyrim, so it’s probably for the best, Bobby.
