Makoto Shinkai, the creator of the most beautiful full-length anime, is back with a new creation. He has released a full-length trailer for his new creation, “Suzume Closes the Doors”, which was inspired by the difficult period of the coronavirus pandemic.
The anime tells a touching story about a young girl living on the island of Kyushu. One day she meets a mysterious guy who is busy looking for a door. Already together they manage to find the right door in the ruins, but the separation of its heroes causes terrible cataclysms throughout Japan. Now they have to leave catastrophic destruction and close new mysterious doors.
The tape is being created by Makoto Shinkai with his personal studio, who have already released such successful projects as “Weather Child”, “Your Name”, “5 Centimeters Per Second” and others.
“Suzume Closes the Doors” is scheduled to premiere in Japan on November 11, 2022. Later, the tape should reach the rest of the world.
