Today, Square Enix released a new trailer, screenshots and details of the upcoming tactical JRPG The DioField Chronicle.
While we pretty much already knew the release date, we’re now getting confirmation that the West will get the game on September 22 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
The trailer is the same one we saw in Japanese, but with English voice-over and lyrics. That’s why the screenshots are new.
We will also learn about two special editions.
The Digital Deluxe Edition will include in-game items that can be used “from the start of the main game”: the Knight’s Spear weapon and the Mystical Ring accessory. You will also receive a soundtrack and an artbook. It costs $74.99 (the standard edition is priced at $59.99).
In addition, a physical Collector’s Edition bundle is also available for $169.99, including the following.
- Physical game The DioField Chronicle
- The DioField Chronicle Board Game is a competitive board game set in the video game world of The DioField Chronicle.
- The DioField Chronicle Pin Pack is a pin set with four different crest designs, each representing the Rowtail Alliance, the Order of Granwell, the Blue Fox Mercenaries, and the Chauvian Empire.
Early purchase bonuses include a weapon, a Rhopasto knife and an accessory, a recruit bracelet.
