The developers of WRC Generations introduced a new competitive mode “League”

NACON and KT Racing have unveiled Leagues Mode, a brand new competitive mode in WRC Generations, the official video game of the FIA World Rally Championship, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC (Steam and Epic ) – the 3rd of November. The game will also be available for Nintendo Switch on December 1, 2022.

League Mode is the main competitive mode of WRC Generations. It is divided into two categories: solo and team. Players can rank in both modes at the same time. In solo, a player’s ranking is determined by the points earned individually, and the sum of the points earned by each player determines the position of his team.

The Leagues mode is a cross-platform feature (with the exception of Switch, which will work independently) that aims to get the best ranking in different leagues:

    • Legend (major league)
    • Champion
    • Professional
    • Rookie
    • Junior
    • Rookie (unranked or players demoted to Junior 3)

Each league is divided into three levels. Each level is then divided into groups of players or teams to compete on a straight scale. Groups can contain up to 30 single players and 8 teams in the same mode.

The seasons are divided into weeks, including a qualification stage (one week) and ten weeks of competition consisting of daily and weekly events in which players can participate in order to move up in their group rankings.

Each week ends with a re-evaluation, during which players and teams switch places according to their performance. During this phase, players gain experience allowing them to unlock new customization items for the Driver Card and new decals for the Livery Editor.

At the end of Season 3, the best teams and players in the world are inducted into the League Hall of Fame.

A two-week pre-season is scheduled for October 31st for players to get familiar with the system, with the first season officially starting on November 28th, 2022.
