The database of the PlayStation 5 found references to the new Call of Duty

Authoritative insiders have already announced several times the impending announcement of the new Call of Duty. It looks like the leakers were right and the next part of the popular shooter series is really around the corner. Irrefutable proof of the existence of another Call of Duty has been found in the latest update to the PlayStation 5 database.

A user under the nickname PlayStationSize drew attention to the new Call of Duty in the files of the digital store of the console. According to his data, the shooter was added to the general catalog of PlayStation 5 games under the code name HailStröm. The user is convinced that the classified project is the alpha version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, which was previously reported by Tom Henderson.

Also found in the database is the HailStröm logo and icon, which can be seen above. According to a user with the nickname PlayStationSize, the shooter is already available for download on PlayStation 5. The approximate size of the game in the current version is only 20 GB, but only developers and trusted users can download it. Probably, Activision is currently conducting closed testing of the new Call of Duty, and the announcement of the game itself may take place in the near future.
