The Creative Assembly yesterday unveiled the second of four new Legendary Lords from the upcoming Champions of Chaos Lords Pack DLC, Festus the Leechlord. And today they showed the first look at the gameplay for this beautiful, kind doctor, who will not only heal your body from the frailty of being, but also give you some new limbs.
Festus was a doctor who was brought by fate to a city stricken with a deadly disease. It was such a strong disease that in the end he did not save anyone, moreover, in a fit of desperation, he himself signed himself under the rule of Nurgle. Now this healer walks the world, generating new deadly diseases, which he is happy to test on all living beings. Always happy to go into battle, armed with a healing elixir capable of healing his faithful and saving them from death.
All of his loyal troops have poison attacks. He himself is able to breed diseases and benefit from their spread. What is interesting is the level of regeneration that his army has. That’s a good 25% that most enemy commanders can only envy.
Like Azazel, Festus will appear in Total War: Warhammer 3 along with the rest of the Champions of Chaos Lords Pack following the release of Immortal Empires, which is set to release on August 23, 2022.
