Among the features that the developers consider peculiar is the work with characters, which, apparently, are not only divided into more general macro classes, but also try to be all peculiar.
There are four classes that they refer to as a “combat” style, but otherwise they develop in a very specific way.
Characters are divided into Speedster, Brawler, Trickster and Defender, each of which has its own characteristics, to which are added the distinctive features of each competitor. The power-up management is also special, some power-ups are exclusive to their class or can be used with different results, adding an extra strategic element.
There are no special abilities, but some power-ups are “preset” for certain character types and can be charged for a more powerful effect during a ride, rather than for faster use. Another feature is that this is essentially a live service game, so updates and new content will come out more regularly and frequently.
Disney Speedstorm was announced in February this year and is a free-to-play arcade racing game featuring Disney and Pixar characters.
