Larian Studios revealed new information about Baldur’s Gate 3 during the Panel from Hell: Release Showcase, the last showcase before the game’s official release. The panel detailed various aspects of the game, from the customizable serial killer protagonist to the importance of character personality.
Character personality is the centerpiece of Baldur’s Gate 3, and the character customization program lets you customize everything from appearance to stats to backstory – be your hero, villain, or Ed Sharran, a simple bard roaming the roads of Faerûn with his trusty lute and barely concealed inner darkness , which gnaws and rots, demanding release – the opportunities for self-expression when creating a character in the game are quite wide.
At the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3, players will be able to experience even more options for creating a variety of characters:
- New appearance options such as freckles, vitiligo, scars
- New tattoo designs
- Heterochromia
- Lip design customization
- Additional accessories such as earrings and piercings
- Tiefling horn color customization
In addition, new adventurers no longer need to be slim and young – the appearance of the “age” selector will give you the opportunity to create an older protagonist, and the presence of “powerful” body types in the game will significantly increase the size of the figure for representatives of all genders.
Baldur’s Gate III releases on August 3 for PC and Mac and September 6 for PlayStation 5.
