It was pretty obvious that the developer The Callisto Protocol Striking Distance and AMD have been friends for a while, but today they announced about official partnership. According to AMD, they “will advance The Callisto Protocol” and we already know that the game will support the latest technologies such as FidelityFX Super Resolution 2.0 (FSR 2.0). This also likely means that the game will not support NVIDIA features such as DLSS and DLAA at launch.

Does this mean that NVIDIA benefits like DLSS will never appear in The Callisto Protocol? Not necessary. For example, Horizon Zero Dawn, another AMD-sponsored game, received DLSS in a patch about 4 months after launch. Deathloop got it even faster. So, you RTX cardholders probably just need to be patient.
Callisto Protocol releases December 2 for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5.
