- Studio Santa Monica Twitter profile – 80k likes (highest number of likes for a studio profile)
- Trailer on YouTube – more than four million views (from various sources)
These are numbers indicative of the actual hype generated by the announcement and release of God of War Ragnarok. It’s obviously too early to tell if this enthusiasm will translate into strong sales, but given the scale of production, there’s not much doubt that God of War Ragnarok will be a commercial success and presumably will be received very positively by journalists and gamers.
