    Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Gets Update 1.03 With Many Fixes And Improvements



    Tribute Games has released update 1.03 for (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles) TMNT Shredder’s Revenge on all platforms, which adds a few small features, fixes a lot of bugs, and even offers a few improvements. Below you can find the full list of patch notes.

    Error correction

    The game

    • Fixed an issue that sometimes caused enemies to freeze after Fling Slam.
    • Fixed an issue where the Rat King would sometimes get stuck after being defeated.
    • Fixed an issue where Krang’s torso would sometimes leave the screen.
    • Fixed a bug that caused Dertbeg sometimes stuck when attacked by Blinding Flash.
    • Fixed an issue where some player attacks that grant immunity to falling into pits were grappled and resulted in a near-instant knockout of the player.
    • Fixed the Kick Attack attack sometimes causing the player to get stuck when landing on edges.

    Online

    • Fixed characters sometimes getting stuck in the cutscene.
    • Fixed multiple connection issues at the beginning of stages that could cause players to get out of sync and disappear.
    • Fixed several crashes caused by packet loss or latency resulting in incomplete attack, player or camera data. Bold!
    • Fixed an issue that caused clients to ignore canceling an opponent’s grapple (when the player grabbed too long or the enemy was too healthy to be grappled).
    • Fixed an issue that caused players to interrupt a Grab with a Super Attack, causing enemies to get stuck in their Grab reaction.
    • Fixed an issue where the client-side Chrome Dome would sometimes not stand up when it should.
    • Fixed an issue where the Groundchuck would often not look at players in the correct direction (or sometimes not animate at all) when charging.
    • Fixed some replication issues in the Shredder fight.
    • Fixed an issue that caused Super Shredder and Rat King to sometimes freeze when the host left the game.
    • Fixed an issue where client-side rat spawning in the Rat King fight would often occur at the wrong time.
    • Fixed an issue where Splinter’s client-side super would not increase your hit counter and score. He is a radical rat!
    • Fixed network lag during boss fights sometimes breaking boss behavior, resulting in the fight not being able to end (such as the boss disappearing).
    • Fixed an issue where searching for online games no longer worked after a failed search.
    • Fixed connection issues that occurred after the cutscene at the end of the game.

    Control

    • Fixed partial saving of customized controls.
    • Fixed use of non-QWERTY keyboard when setting up controls.

    Menu

    • Fixed saving VSync value in settings.
    • Fixed the way the pause menu gets stuck on the screen during the game.

    Achievements

    • Fixed reset progression of stat-based achievements such as “Complete Cast!” when starting a new game.
    • Achievement unlocks are now saved immediately. Achievement progress is now saved when exiting a stage.

    Audio

    • Fixed audio volume issues in stereo settings.
    • Credits
    • Added some great people who worked on the game. Tubular!
    • Corrected Edwin’s name. Kowabanga, dude!

    PC

    • Fixed a crash when sound hardware is not found.
    • Fixed sound playing when the game window is out of focus.

    Steam

    • Fixed handling of some issues with accessing the My Documents folder on Windows and falling back to the AppData (Roaming) folder when needed.

    Improvements

    The game

    • Improved performance by preloading all possible enemies to be used in the stage.
    • Dizzy players are no longer invincible. Bummer, dude!
    • In story mode, executing “Continue” no longer loads “How to play”.

    Online

    • Improved the definition of all connected players as ready, which did not allow entering the stage.
    • Improved transitions between different parts of stage 6 (Crystal Palace Mall).
    • Improved bosses snapping to (sometimes bad) positions after hits on the client side.
    • Remote players now visually perform a double jump and additional somersault attacks. Immoral!

    Menu

    • Added platform icons when listing online games and friends.
    • Steam
    • Improved connection to other players

    Innovations

    Online

    • Added a pop-up message if you are kicked out of a party. Sorry!
    • Added pop-up check netcode when version mismatch. Friends don’t let friends play without a patch.

    Steam

    • Added support for input glyphs specific to Steam Deck.
    • The Steam input binding menu is now displayed when customizing controls.

    If you haven’t played the game yet, you should change this ASAP! The game was released on June 16 for all current platforms.
