Goldhawk Interactive’s Xenonauts 2 is in Early Access, the long-awaited sci-fi tactical strategy game that XCOM fans should love. The game is released exclusively for personal computers and it has Russian subtitles.
In the part of the series debuting today, players will have to get acquainted with an alternative version of the events of the last adventure (recall that the plot of Xenonauts was about the alien invasion of Earth during the Cold War in the late 1970s), as well as encounter an alien civilization.
To defeat the invaders, the player will have to wisely conduct turn-based combat and build well-functioning bases to increase the chances of ultimate victory. The developers emphasize that Xenonauts 2, like the previous part, is the spiritual heir to the classic UFO: Enemy Unknown.
It should be noted that the first part of Xenonauts was released in 2014 and, although it did not have outstanding visual characteristics, it received decent reviews from critics and players. Xenonauts 2 will go into Early Access on Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store. For the game they ask 1124 rubles.
