Tactical RPG Sequel Fuga: Melodies of Steel Coming in 2023 to Consoles and PC

Ahead of tomorrow’s “Fuga: Melodies of Steel 1st Anniversary Special Broadcast” special, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 has received a ton of new details from the latest issue of Weekly Famitsu. The tactical RPG sequel will be released in 2023 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch and PC, and the game is 60% complete in development.

Along with an improved combat system, new weapons and improved controls for “quick and intuitive tactics”, Turbo Mode will be available at the start of the game. The game will introduce a “judgment system” where the player’s choice affects the story and can even change the relationship between the characters.

The story takes place one year after the true ending of the first game, and players with save data will receive a bonus in the sequel. Malt is the main character again and there seems to be an element of revenge in the game.

The original Fuga: Melodies of Steel is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch. A demo containing the first three chapters is also available to play for free.
