You can evaluate the new feature both on devices running iOS/iPadOS and on gadgets running on Android. The updated version of Telegram is already in the App Store and Google Play.
The key innovation is the emergence of Stories. They are located above the list of chats – in the form of small circles. So far, Stories can only publish personal accounts. They are not available for channels and chats.
Telegram has a built-in story editor, which is similar to the one used for photos. You can tag people, choose to display for contacts, for everyone, or just for yourself. Stories “live” from 6 to 48 hours. You can shoot stories on both the front and rear cameras.
The first (test) month Stories will be available only for premium Telegram subscribers. Then everyone else can add them.
