After celebrating its 10th anniversary in December 2021 and releasing the seventh Legacy of the Sith expansion, BioWare announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic will receive a new update that will introduce new content to players. It is believed that the new spark will increase the level of entertainment and give players a small but fresh incentive to keep playing.
In a recent update posted by the developer, BioWare claims that August 2nd will be the day new content arrives in Star Wars The Old Republic. Update 7.1 will introduce the following:
- New daily storylines for Republic and Empire players on the planet Manaan.
- A challenging new operation for teams of 8 players.
- Improvements to our Equipped Weapon System
- Key revelations about Darth Malgus and the Sith Lord whose relics he sought.
“We’re excited to have all of this great content coming your way next month as it’s our job to make sure Star Wars: The Old Republic remains the best MMO in its class,” says Bioware.
Star Wars: The Old Republic is an MMORPG set in the Star Wars universe. It was originally released in December 2011.
