Marvelous is working on several new games in the Rune Factory series, such as Rune Factory 6 and Project Dragon, which are set in the west of Adonea, while the second is set in the Land of the East. In the meantime, fans can look forward to Rune Factory 3 Special, a remaster of the 2009 RPG classic.
It’s coming to Nintendo Switch and PC and comes with a lot of new features. A new trailer has surfaced that highlights the various potential companions the protagonist Mika can interact with. There are 11 of them in total, which is a record for the series. Among them there are a little reserved Raven, and the witch-apprentice Marian, and the lover of fishing Carmen, and the conceited Sophia.
With Newlywed Mode, players can embark on new adventures after marrying their mate. There’s also a new Hell difficulty for veterans to spice up the game.
Rune Factory 3 Special releases September 5th for Nintendo Switch and PC.
