First-person shooter Post Void has received a new release date on consoles. Super Rare Originals announced on Twitter that their latest title will be released on September 29 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Post Void was previously delayed due to the development team reportedly needing more time to polish the game to ensure the best possible launch experience. It appears that YCYJ Games has been quick enough with the final polishes and improvements to bring Post Void to its planned platforms earlier than expected.
Post Void was originally released for PC on Steam back in 2020 and quickly received various accolades for its fast-paced gameplay supported by its unique pixel art style. Currently, Post Void’s ratings on Steam are overwhelmingly positive, with over 6,000 player reviews received.
The popular FPS game requires players to keep up with its fast-paced combat that requires constant concentration from start to finish. In other words, if players slow down or hesitate to kill, it’s game over. Players must increase their kill count to maintain their health, forcing them to keep running non-stop. It is also worth noting that Post Void will include support for the DualSense controller, which will make the gameplay even more chaotic and exciting.
