Possible codename for Grand Theft Auto 6 revealed thanks to voice actress resume

We may have another Grand Theft Auto 6 detail thanks to voice actress Nathonia Monet, who may have been cast as one of the female characters in Rockstar Games’ upcoming blockbuster.

Sharp-eyed GTA fans noticed a small detail in Nathonia’s resume, which refers to a certain Rockstar video game codenamed Fireball. The summary also mentions that Monet’s character in the game is called Tamara.

Shortly after fans discovered this tiny detail in the resume, Monet or her representatives removed all evidence of this project, so that no video game projects are mentioned in the latest version of the resume.

Below you can see the July 15 summary that mentions the game and the updated summary without mentioning the Rockstar video game.

Before diving into the codename conspiracy theories, it’s worth noting that working video game codenames rarely mean anything. For example, GTA 4 was codenamed ICE, while GTA 5 was codenamed Firestorm. Both of these say little about games, do they?

Fireball can mean a lot of things, from the actual fireball to the Fireball whiskey or the Fireball cocktail. Most likely, this is just a catchy name with little meaning for the game itself and nothing more.

As for Monet’s character, it could be anyone. From minor side characters that players only meet once or twice in the game, like Debra or Franklin’s Aunt Denise in GTA 5, to someone who appears frequently throughout the story. This is most likely the first, since, judging by her resume, this will be the actress’s first job in video games.

Grand Theft Auto 6 is currently in development, according to Rockstar. No release date has been announced yet, but the game is rumored to be released in 2024/2025. It will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, as well as on PC.

According to rumors, the main location of GTA 6 will be modern Miami. The game is rumored to feature two main characters and will feature a female character for the first time.
