After the release of the GeForce RTX 3000, NVIDIA is extremely negative about the release of video cards with a forced-type cooling system, which is also better known as a turbine cooler. And it’s not about the high thermal power of the latest generation video cards. The chipmaker doesn’t want gaming cards to compete with much more expensive professional cards, and the “turbic” allows you to place several adapters close to each other.

At Computex, PNY demonstrated the GeForce RTX 4070 Blower Edition, equipped with a turbine cooler. In fact, this is the first official graphics card of the RTX 4000 series with such a cooling system. Earlier we saw unusual RTX 4090but in that case the manufacturer hides as much as possible, but here everything is official.

The small 200-watt TDP level of the GeForce RTX 4070 even allows such a cooler to operate relatively quietly. PNY promises noise levels up to 32 dBA.

It is hard to believe in the appearance of the likes of RTX 4070 Ti and RTX 4080. Significantly more computing power will lead to competition with professional cards.
