    ‘Pet Sematary’ Prequel Released

    Stream service Paramount+ has published the debut footage of the horror “Pet Sematary: Bloodlines”. Its release will take place on October 6th.

    The project is a prequel to Stephen King’s Pet Sematary. The story takes place in 1969. Young Jud Crandall dreams of leaving his hometown of Ludlow, Maine. At some point, he discovers a sinister family secret. Teaming up with friends, the hero decides to challenge the ancient evil that terrorizes the city.

    The film stars Henry Thomas (“The Haunting of Hill House”), Pam Grier (“Jackie Brown”), David Duchovny (“The X-Files”), Jackson White, Forrest Goodluck and others. Lindsey Beer (“Sierra Burgess is a Loser”) acted as director and screenwriter.

    The first film adaptation of King’s novel was released in 1989, with a new version following in 2019.
