During the second phase of the Overwatch 2 beta, many users noticed the updated design of some of the female characters. According to the players, Blizzard Entertainment finally heard their fans and fixed the main “problem” in character design. Apparently, Tracer and D.Va increased the size of the priests in the shooter.
At first, shooter players noticed a noticeable increase in the buttocks of D.Va. Many users came to the general opinion that the developers of the shooter really reworked the original forms of the heroine. Changes in design were also found in the Tracer, although it will be more difficult to confirm the actual increase here. In the case of Tracer, the texture of the clothes has been reworked, which now better emphasizes the shape of the body.
It is possible that it was the fans who forced the developers to make changes to the original design. At the start of the first phase of the Overwatch 2 beta test, the game was heavily criticized for the lack of changes in character design. In some cases, like was with TracerBlizzard made the appearance of the characters even worse.
Overwatch 2 release date is scheduled for October 2022 for PC and consoles.
