Jeff Gardiner, who has served as lead project manager on many of Bethesda Softworks’ iconic titles, is set to return to game production after a long hiatus. On his personal page on the social network, he hinted at the imminent start of the development of a new project, where he will hold a leadership position.
Jeff Gardiner began his career at Bethesda Softworks with The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion. After her, he participated in the development of Fallout 3 and Skyrim. The developer made the most significant contribution to the creation of Fallout 4 and Fallout 76. Gardiner left the studio last summer and, after a rather long break, is ready to announce his new game, but so far he keeps everything a secret.
Given Jeff Gardiner’s vast experience and sudden secrecy, he’s most likely working on a massive “AAA game” with a different development team. His new game will likely be heard at Gamescom 2022, which is scheduled for August.
