Nothing company held a presentation of the long-awaited smartphone Phone (1). A feature of the novelty is the back of the case – it is completely transparent and equipped with LED-backlight.
That same LED part was called Glyph. The manufacturer calls it “a new way of communication.” For example, a smartphone notifies you of an event when you receive an incoming call with a combination of LED flashes and sound effects.

In addition, the transparent surface made it possible to implement wireless charging in both directions. The case itself received water protection according to the IP53 standard, and the sound is output to dual stereo speakers.
The OLED display measures 6.55″ with Full HD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 60 to 120Hz. Everything is covered with Gorilla Glass. As a processor, Nothing Phone (1) uses an 8-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G + paired with 8/12 GB of RAM (LPDDR5) and 128/256 GB of permanent memory (UFS 3.1).
The Sony IMX766 main camera supports both optical and electronic image stabilization (OIS and EIS), including night and portrait modes.
The Samsung JN1 ultra wide-angle camera has a 114-degree field of view and can take macro shots from a distance of up to 4 cm. The front module is Sony IMX471.
