The official PlayStation Twitter profile has revealed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is the best-selling game in the series on PlayStation consoles.
The official PlayStation account wrote:
Congratulations to Infinity Ward and Activision on the largest ever launch of a Call of Duty game on the PlayStation Store (including pre-orders and day one sales). Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is now available for PS4 and PS5!

Although not specified, it can be assumed that Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is one of the best-selling games at launch on the PlayStation Store as a whole. After all, Call of Duty is one of the most successful series on PS4 and PS5, so it’s entirely plausible that Modern Warfare 2 is one of the best launches on the PS Store.
