Ahead of the release of The Sims 4 High School Years, Maxis Studios and EA announced a new update on July 28th. The update brings a bunch of base game improvements as well as bug fixes and contains something for every member of the Sims community.
The first set of changes detailed in the update notes, concerns the base game and aims to improve the overall user experience. The phone will receive a new “smooth UI” update that will make it easier than ever to set up, while maintaining the same experience. Speaking of customization, the building tools are getting an expansion to include curved walls, allowing players to place and customize medium, large, and extra-large curved rooms.
Along with changes to phones and buildings, the Sims character experience is getting a few improvements. Body hair is now available without the need for lycanthropy, and whims are now replaced with a larger selection of desires and fears that your Sim can strive to achieve or overcome, which can be toggled on or off in the Gameplay options menu.
The rest of the patch contains a lot of changes to fix various bugs that players may have encountered.
