The popular RPG NieR:Automata, released by Square Enix on February 23, 2017 and sold over 6.5 million units worldwide, will soon receive the NieR:Automata Ver1.1a anime, which will begin airing in January 2023. Today, the creators have presented a new teaser trailer and a poster with one of the characters in the game.
The adaptation is directed and written by Ryoji Masuyama, with Yoko Taro himself co-writing the script.
