New story cutscenes from JRPG Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten

Aquaplus today unveiled new videos for the upcoming JRPG Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten. The videos are dedicated to showcasing two different kinds of story scenes in the game. The first is similar to previous Utawarerumono games and classic visual novels, with 2D characters and environments. The second video shows a fully animated scene in 3D, which is also in the game.

You can watch both videos below.

The game releases November 17 for PS5, PS4 and PC via Steam.

By the way, we still don’t know if the game will be released in English on PS5 and PS4 at all, since Shiravune announced a PC-only localization via Steam. We will have to wait and see if anything will be announced on this in the future. It’s worth noting that early buyers of the Steam version will receive several bonuses for a limited time, including a digital art booklet and a digital soundtrack.

The release of the game will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the Utawarerumono series, which debuted in 2002 with the original Utawarerumono.
