Today, Sea of Thieves players can start enjoying their next adventure, Return of the Damned. This adventure continues the story of the previous one, Herald of the Flame, and has just become available.
Interestingly, it looks like players will have to make a tough choice between Sir Arthur Pendragon and Captain Fireheart. The trailer hints that only one of them can survive. Although the word “live” is not entirely appropriate here.
To celebrate the release of the adventure, a new cinematic trailer has been released, which you can watch below.
If you’re not familiar with adventures, these are story events added to the game every month for about two weeks. They run in trilogies throughout each season and allow players to take part in shaping the overall history of Sea of Thieves.
Sea of Thieves is currently available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. You can also purchase it through Game Pass.
The game is currently in Season 7, with Season 8 (expected this fall) to arrive fairly soon.
