Xiaomi has released the Mi Miaoxiang Center utility. With its help, you can broadcast multimedia content from your smartphone to a TV, laptop, smart speaker and other devices without complex settings and confusing connections.
Miaoxiang Center is built into the Control Center – “Control Center”, which can be called up from the notification curtain with a swipe from the top of the screen. This utility allows you to redirect video or music from the built-in apps in MIUI 13 to a device that is more convenient for consuming such content.
The implementation of redirecting content from one gadget to another is very convenient: you just need to open the sharing menu and drag the content to one of the supported devices, which are visually displayed in circles. The file will instantly play on the gadget where you redirected it, and the smartphone can be used as a remote control.
Support for Mi Miaoxiang Center is provided in some models of smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, TVs, speakers and other gadgets manufactured by Xiaomi. Mi Miaoxiang Center will appear with one of the MIUI 13 skin updates on Xiaomi 12S, Xiaomi 12, Xiaomi Mi Mix 4, Redmi K50, Redmi K40S smartphones and Xiaomi Mi Pad 5, Mi Pad 5 Pro and Mi Pad 5 Pro 5G tablets. In the future, the company will expand the list of devices that work with this utility. Xiaomi will first test this feature in China, and then provide access to it to residents of other countries.
