    ‘Mission: Impossible 7’ grossed $235 million worldwide

    The seventh installment of the Mission: Impossible franchise made $235 million in its first week of worldwide release.

    The Tom Cruise action movie took in $80 million in North America (the series’ best opening ever at home) and $155 million internationally. Russia was not among the latter due to the cessation of work in the country of the Paramount studio.

    The film’s budget was $300 million, excluding marketing. Tape with the subtitle “Deadly Reckoning. Part I” was originally supposed to be released in 2021, but due to covid it was constantly postponed.

    The film also starred: Hayley Atwell, Rebecca Ferguson, Pom Klementieff, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby and others. Oscar winner Christopher McQuarrie (The Usual Suspicious Persons) once again directed and co-wrote the script.
