2K Games and Firaxis Games have released a new trailer for the tactical game Marvel’s Midnight Suns, dedicated to one of their playable characters.
The character introduced today is the first Avenger, Steve Rogers AKA Captain America.
Sure, his gameplay is centered around his shield, but that doesn’t make him a purely tanky character. He can generate Block and then use it to deal massive damage.
His ability to aggro allows him to protect his allies like any good tank should.
We also see how the player-created hero Hunter can strengthen his friendship with Captain America to increase his effectiveness in combat.
His shield also gives Captain America the ability to knock enemies back.
You can develop heroism during the game to play heroic cards, and the most expensive captain card of this type is “Shield Charge”, which turns “Block” into pure damage, dealing to all enemies in a linear order, as mentioned above.
Marvel’s Midnight Suns releases October 7, 2022 on PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
