According to Eurogamer, actress Maggie Robertson will play the role of Orina the Red in Baldur’s Gate 3. Robertson is already familiar to video game fans as she previously played the role of antagonist Lady Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village.
Orin the Red is a magical, shapeshifting personality. She is a sexy but sadistic person who will show up in the game every now and then – and towards the final stage – and test your resolve. Orin works for one of the higher powers that you oppose in the game, and visually she stands out with her almost completely white eyes, glowing red and defiant outfit, and smoky patterns can be seen on her skin. She is ruthless and will try to use her disguise abilities to catch you off guard and make you make terrible decisions.
Maggie Robertson joins the all-star cast of Baldur’s Gate 3, which includes J.K. Simmons, familiar from his role as a newspaper editor in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man films, and Jason Isaacs, whom you probably know from the role of Lucius Malfoy from the Harry Potter films.
Baldur’s Gate 3 will release on PC on August 3rd and on PS5 on September 6th.
