Lenovo Unveils Stylish WQHD Mini-LED Gaming Monitor Legion Y34w

Lenovo has been in the gaming monitor market for quite some time, but its products have not gained impressive popularity in the world markets.

But now the company has unveiled a new Legion-branded gaming monitor that looks promising on paper and may well be able to captivate an audience of users in the near future. The fact is that the Lenovo Legion Y34w gaming monitor uses a 34-inch WQHD Mini-LED widescreen panel. The choice of this panel is actually incredibly interesting, since we see Mini-LED technology offerings more often in more expensive gaming monitors like the Samsung Neo Odyssey G9. However, insiders report that this technology will become available with the Legion Y34w monitor.

The Lenovo Legion Y34w gaming monitor features a 165Hz refresh rate with DisplayHDR 1000 certification, AMD Freesync Premium Pro support, and a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits.

The monitor delivers excellent image quality with 95% DCI-P3 color space coverage, 10-bit color depth, and Delta E<2 color accuracy. In addition, Lenovo Legion Y34w is equipped with HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 interfaces and a full-featured USB Type-C port.

And here I would like to note that the monitor can support power transfer up to 140W through the USB Type-C interface, which makes it ideal for use with a gaming laptop.

The cost of the new monitor has not yet been reported.
