Kit Harington has stated that his character Dane Whitman from The Eternals will not appear in the upcoming Blade, contrary to rumors.
During an appearance at Superhero Comic Con in San Antonio, Harrington confirmed that his character is in line to take up the sword and become the Black Knight, but there is no talk of crossing over with Blade anytime soon.
I have never been assigned to the project. I think there was some misunderstanding about whether or not I would do Blade. My character was never supposed to be there and he is not there.
Harrington played Dane Whitman in The Eternals, and the post-credits scene contained a hint that the hero, following the canon, would be reincarnated as the Black Knight.
