The official website has also been updated with the following new character descriptions:

haluthis talking and moving plush toy was found deep inside some ruins. He accompanies Oshtor on his journey to look after Shunya. Despite his charming appearance, sometimes his behavior is not very puppet-like.

Pashpakuru is the father of Oshtor. He was a Yamato patrol officer who reportedly died in the line of duty when Oshtor was still very young. Although he is strict and noble as a Mononofu (warrior), at the same time he has a heart of gold. He has a strong influence on the lifestyle chosen by Ostor.

Mayakoul – Servant of Shantur (high priest), he is dressed in black and wears a black mask. He pursues Shunya and Pashpakura, who flee from him and his subordinates. Outwardly, Mayakoul is always calm and self-possessed, so no one knows what is really on his mind.

Murasame is the viceroy of Izumo, the sentinel country, and one of the Eight Pillars of Yamato, although this is not public information for some reason. Being a warrior with a high regard for etiquette, she gave her daughter Munechika a strict upbringing.

Shantura is a title denoting the high priest of Arva Shulan. This post is held by an authoritative and intelligent woman who is revered by many. She adheres to tradition and cares deeply for her citizens, always keeping a close eye on the poor villages.
