The problems stem from the fact that a new manufacturing process is used to reduce the size of the bezel. Apple has faced a similar problem in the past when vendors prepared screens for some Apple Watch models.
Displays for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max reportedly failed reliability tests when installed in a case. Because of this, LG is forced to redo the panels. Most likely, at the start of sales in September, these smartphone models will be very difficult to buy, and the situation may improve only by the end of the year.
