It looks like Respawn has started work on the next Star Wars Jedi adventure.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has only been out a few months, but it looks like Respawn Entertainment is already working on a third adventure with Cal Kestis. We believe that it may be his last, as the director of the game, Stig Asmussen, said earlier this year that he “always wanted it to be a trilogy.”

As noted by Tech4Gamers, there are currently two very suspicious job offers that seem to indicate that a sequel is in development. In the first case, we are talking about a senior visual effects designer for the Star Wars Jedi series and this is not a DLC for Jedi: Survivor or something like that, since the list of main conditions indicates Unreal Engine 5, which indicates that this is a project using a different game engine (Jedi: Survivor – Unreal Engine 4).

The second major position is for a Senior Fight Designer who needs to have a “passion for melee games” and the job description for this person is reminiscent of the Star Wars Jedi series, including “skills/progression, story and encounters”. with bosses.

As a result, it looks like Cal Kestis will return sooner or later. Although it was expected that there would be another game in the series, it’s always nice to get confirmation, because it means that perhaps in a few years we will get something new and that Stig Asmussen will be able to fulfill his desire to create a trilogy.
