    Intel will introduce computers with Wi-Fi 7 support by 2024

    Intel has revealed a lead time for the PC market with Wi-Fi 7 support. The company is preparing to introduce support for a new communication standard that promises a more stable and faster wireless connection by 2024, 2025 at the latest.

    Despite the fact that the final format specifications are not yet ready, some office manufacturers are trying to introduce Wi-Fi 7 into their equipment. Intel believes that by the designated period, it will also have desktop computers and laptops with Wi-Fi 7 support ready.

    The latest wireless standard, also known as 802.11be, will offer up to twice the speed of Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 6E. The Wi-Fi 7 connection speed can reach 5.8 Gb / s.

    Information will be transmitted between devices with less interference due to the simultaneous use of the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, as well as the new 6 GHz. Also Wi-Fi 7 will use 320 MHz in addition to the 20, 40, 80 and 160 MHz bandwidths.
