In Japan, augmented reality glasses were redesigned for remote shopping

Japanese developers do not stand still and come up with new innovations.

The problem of an aging population in Japan is forcing local electronics and software makers to look for adequate use of new technologies. So, engineers have created augmented reality glasses for shopping, which help to choose goods in the store, while directing employees of the trading floor to certain positions.

It is known that since the beginning of this summer, one of the Japanese supermarkets began to conduct trial operation of RemoPick glasses, which allows elderly residents to buy everything they need without leaving their homes. 13 people have already used this service.
