In a new trailer, the authors of MMO Palia announced the start of closed beta testing

Singularity 6 today announced that its cozy MMO Palia will soon be entering closed beta testing, allowing future players to experience the game live.

The beta will begin on August 2nd and will only be available on PC. Registration is already available on the official website of the game. For now, the beta version of the game will be available in North America and Western Europe, with other regions coming in the future. English, Spanish, French, Italian and German are supported, but more will be added during beta testing.

To celebrate the occasion, we’ve also received a brand new trailer that, as you’d expect, showcases the world of Palia and its cartoon characters. The game proved to be quite popular during the alpha testing, with 600,000 players signing up to try it out.

A press release published a statement by Aidan Karabaich, co-founder and game director of Singularity 6.

We created Palia to defy genre conventions and bring people together in a cozy MMO where they can make new friendships, and we’re excited to finally welcome new players who can create the coziest versions of themselves. We’ve put a lot of effort into creating an environment that makes you feel like you’re at home away from home, and we’re looking at the beta testing phase as the next step in our continued journey to expand and improve the game with our players. We hope you will join us.
