    Bellevue’s ArenaNet studio behind Guild Wars is working on an online fantasy RPG powered by Unreal Engine 5. The information came straight from vacancies senior technical content designer working on an unannounced project.

    What will you do as a technical content designer We have a bold vision of how to break out of certain vicious circles inherent in content creation. In this role, you will create the pillars of our multiplayer storytelling such as interactions, conversations, scenes, dynamic spawning, and emerging goals.

    The job description also states that the newly hired Senior Technical Content Designer will lead the first rapid iterations through direct implementation in the Unreal 5 engine and collaboration with team members.

    It’s been a long time since ArenaNet released a new game. After all, Guild Wars 2 came out on August 28, 2012; While the developer has released countless updates and three full expansions (Heart of Thorns, Path of Fire and most recently End of Dragons) to the MMORPG since then, it may be time for a new game.
