GeForce GTX 1080, though not new, is still very powerful – Forza Horizon 5 pulls even in 8K

The author of the YouTube channel zWORMz Gaming posted a video in which he demonstrated what the GeForce GTX 1080 graphics card is capable of in the Forza Horizon 5 race.

Testing was conducted on a PC with an AMD Ryzen 9 5900X processor and 32 GB of RAM. Youtuber chose a non-reference GeForce GTX 1080 from ASUS.

The results are below.

• Forza Horizon at 1080p at maximum graphics settings: 86 fps.
• Forza Horizon in 2K at maximum graphics settings: 69 fps.
• Forza Horizon in 4K at maximum graphics settings: 47 fps.
• Forza Horizon in 8K at maximum graphics settings: 13 fps.
• Forza Horizon at 1080p at high graphics settings: 136 fps.
• Forza Horizon in 2K at high graphics settings: 99 fps.
• Forza Horizon in 4K at high graphics settings: 70 fps.
• Forza Horizon in 8K at high graphics settings: 24 fps.
• Forza Horizon in 8K at medium graphics settings: 29 fps.

Conclusion: GeForce GTX 1080 is still very good for modern games. If you have one, there is no point in changing it.
