Filming of the fourth season of The Witcher may start in September

On the Film & Television Industry Alliance portal, the date for the start of filming of the fourth season of The Witcher was lit up, and this is September 4 this year. Given the ongoing Writers’ Guilds and Actors Guild strike in Hollywood, the deadline looks too optimistic, so it’s best to wait for official confirmation (or refutation) from the showrunners.

The fourth season of The Witcher will be notable for the fact that the role of Geralt of Rivia will be played by Liam Hemsworth, whom the creators of the series have chosen to replace the escaped Henry Cavill. Meanwhile, the second half of the third season of the show starring Cavill will air on July 27.

The sequel to Mission: Impossible, Deadpool 3, the second season of House of the Dragon, and other major projects have already suffered due to the writers’ strike, and work on which had to be urgently suspended.
