The author of the YouTube channel Unreal Concepts created a concept trailer The Elder Scrolls 6 on Unreal Engine 5, which shows what an RPG might look like on a modern engine. For the video, he used the work of the authors from ArtStation, who visualized various locations from medieval fantasy.
The Elder Scrolls 6 was announced in 2018, but will not be released for at least the next five years. Phil Spencer, the head of Microsoft’s gaming division, said this during a lawsuit between the company and the US Federal Trade Commission.
Unreal Engine 5 is the latest version of the graphics engine from Epic. It is free to use, but only for non-commercial purposes.
