WWE superstar Mike “The Miz” Mizanin spoke about how he was “heartbroken” and would not play Johnny Cage V Mortal Kombat 2. Instead, he is confident that Karl Urban, the famous actor from The Boys, will do just fine in this role.
In an interview with ComicBook.com, The Miz explained his desire to play the role of Johnny Cage by saying that the character MK had become closely associated with Mizanin’s own gimmick in WWE. Fans have been pushing for Mike to play the role since the release of Mortal Kombat in 2021.
Although The Miz trained and applied for the role of Johnny Cage, he failed the audition. But the wrestler fully supports Karl Urban in his new role.
